My education consist of the following: I have an Associates in Arts degree, a certification of completion in an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program, passed the NCLEX-PN at the minimum question count, have a current LPN license, and high school diploma.
Experience
I have experience teaching Practical Nursing to LPN students at my former college. I was highly recommended for the position by my instructors because of my academic excellence during the program. I am continuously learning and improving my education and experiences by working in the field. I enjoy tutoring students and passing on knowledge. I find that each student learns differently, and that should be embraced! Nursing can be a complicated subject to teach/learn, so I do my best to break it down to understandable concepts. The following are titles of the courses I am familiar with: Essentials of Pharmacology, Introduction to Medical-Surgical nursing, and Foundations of nursing.

Hobbies
I love to travel as much as possible, I also enjoy painting, kayaking, going to the beach, and most of all spending quality time with my family and friends. The quote that best describes how I feel about nursing is, "The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away." Nursing is my passion, and I believe that God has lead me to this field for a purpose.
